Where we run from dangerous and hostile environments, the department of Fire & Emergency Services personnel run towards them, with a core mission to preserve and save lives.

The sculpture is made from a combination of marine grade 316 stainless steel and decommissioned hoses.

​

Installed January '21, it was commissioned by the Government ofWestern Australia Department of Finance

and runs the full length (15m) of the entrance wall into the new Cockburn fire station.
