Commissioned by the City of Vincent and Brennan Sloan Accounting, I Think Therefore I Am was completed in 2014. Located outside one of the City of Vincent's redevelopments, the sculpture links the recent history of its location - an old educational institution - with its current users. It is also designed to symbolise reinvention, both within a specific space, and within individuals.

Over the years, surface patination has enhanced the aesthetic of the sculpture (as shown below).
